Greetings from Sarah Myers and Welcome to the GreyCatBlog…Scrapper, the Grey Cat

This blog is mostly about books and life with a little bit of everything else mixed in, and is named in honor of my grey cat, Scrapper, also known as Houdini. Scrapper cherishes my reading time almost more than me because he gets laptime for hours on end.

I have been reading for as long as I can remember and come from a family line of librarians, researchers, and publishers. I am a researcher, indexer, library specialist (aka librarian), writer, musician, and nature-outdoor enthusiast. I love words and the ability that words have to transport us all across time, space, cultures, experiences, beliefs, and the ability to string a common thread of literacy  across the world.

I welcome your comments and book suggestions. I find there is great serendipity in the path of books and reading. I always find another book to read through the process of reading, writing, and talking about books with friends, family, and people everywhere. Send me an email: greycatblog at gmail dot com. Happy Reading!
