Coming soon…. I will post books that I hope to read in the coming year. There are so many books and yet so little time!

Libraries and books are like gardens and flowers. The both grow, are useful and give so much to so many people: Inspiration, Education, Recreation, Health and so much more! (Quote by Sarah Myers)

Here goes….

  • “On good land: the autobiography of an urban farm” by Michael Ableman, published by Chronicle Books of San Francisco, 1998.  It relates the story of a small organic farm, Fairview Gardens, created in Santa Barbara, CA.
  • The Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold
  • Anything by Wallace Stegner
  • Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (can you believe I have not yet read this from cover to cover??)
  • Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevksy (there’s a theme here, can you tell? I’ve read bits and pieces of this but not yet begining to end!)
  • more to come…
